Focus and Scope
Focus
Jurnal Tapak Melayu is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Research and Community Service Institute (P3M), Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Natuna. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for disseminating original research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge on Malay civilization, Islamic studies, and related interdisciplinary fields.
The journal particularly promotes scientific studies addressing the dynamics of Malay society, Islamic values, local wisdom, socio-cultural transformation, education, governance, and sustainable development, especially within the Malay world and maritime Southeast Asia. As a journal published in a border region of Indonesia, Jurnal Tapak Melayu also welcomes studies highlighting border communities, maritime culture, coastal societies, and regional development from multidisciplinary perspectives.
