Peer Review Policy
Peer Review Policy
The Tapak Melayu Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous and fair peer review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, significance, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal's focus and scope.
The journal is committed to ensuring that the peer review process is conducted fairly, objectively, confidentially, and without discrimination. Editors and reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review process when such conflicts may affect their impartiality.
Editorial decisions are made based on the reviewers' recommendations and the academic merit of the manuscript. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.
All information contained in submitted manuscripts is treated as confidential and may not be disclosed or used for personal advantage by editors or reviewers before publication.
